Wet felting with alpaca fibre

Join us at Campo Verde Alpacas & Llamas for a creative and relaxing wet felting workshop, where you’ll learn how to transform alpaca fibre into beautiful handmade pieces using only water, soap and friction.

Wet felting is a textile-making technique that uses soap, warm water, and agitation to entangle wool fibres into a durable, non-woven fabric. This ancient method, thousands of years old, is believed to be one of the earliest ways humans utilised fabric.

In this workshop, you will create a couple of unique felted pieces to take home or to give away as gifts. Perfect for beginners, you won't need any prior knowledge; just a willingness to work with your hands and have fun! You'll learn in a small group, capped at 10 participants, ensuring a supportive and engaging experience.
